severe burns they allege are the result of Sally Hansen’s Microwavable Eyebrow,
Face & Lip Wax Kit. Unfortunately,
our clients have suffered as the result of their home beauty treatment.
Clients allege that the problem is one of exploding
wax. After microwaving the product
according to the included instructions, clients noticed a film developed at the
top of their wax. This film was quite
combustible as it exploded onto our clients, burning them severely.
As anyone can attest, a wax burn is no picnic. Trying to remove hot wax from your skin can
be quite painful, especially at scalding temperatures. Our clients have been scarred as a result of
these burns, potentially permanently.
